Over the weekend, we celebrated the Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, honoring the best achievements in film and television performances in 2020. Although there was no official red carpet, stars still had their moments to shine from home. We can’t get enough of Viola Davis, who won for her role as lead actress in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Davis wore a vibrant neon green Louis Vuitton gown with a chic blunt bob by hairstylist Jamika Wilson using Matrix.
Blunt Bob How-To:
- Start by washing and conditioning the hair using Total Results Mega Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner to help control frizz for a smooth foundation.
- Apply StyleLink Heat Buffer Thermal Styling Spray to protect the hair from heat and ensure a smooth and shiny finish. Once applied evenly throughout the hair, blow dry and create a clean middle part.
- Cut the ends to give a sharp, blunt and chic cut using shears and clippers. Once at desired length, lightly apply StyleLink Heat Buffer Thermal Styling Spray once more all over the hair, then flat iron bone-straight.
- To finish, apply StyleLink Over Achiever 3-in-1 Cream + Paste + Wax to smooth and lay down the front of the hair. Polish off any flyaways and tuck front parts behind the ears.
